Returns and Refunds
If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return eligible items for a full refund. We really want you to be happy with your purchase and accept returns for eligible items within 60 days of your purchase. All we ask is that the return must be unused, in the condition it was received, and in the original manufacturer's packaging. Our return policy lasts 60 days. If 60 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
Please note that we will not be able to refund the original shipping cost of your order unless we have made a mistake which prompted the return.
What items are NOT eligible for return?
We do not accept return on the following items:
- Clearance or Sale Items
- Knitting Needles and Crochet Hooks
- Books
- Magazines
- Patterns
- Downloadable Patterns
- Gift Cards
- Random Bags of Knit
Can I return an item if I don't like the color and how do you handle dye lots and color discrepancies?
We understand that it can be difficult to determine colors when purchasing yarn online. We try very hard to provide color accurate pictures in our catalog, however, some factors like variations in color calibration on electronic devices are beyond our control. We list our items with dye lots when they are available and it is our policy to ship the dye lots selected during purchase. In the event that an inventory error prevents this, we contact the customer for substitution approval before shipping.
Hand-dyed yarns can vary substantially from skein to skein and it is recommended to alternate skeins when using hand-dyed yarns to minimize color pooling and facilitate color blending when using multiple hand-dyed skeins in a project.
We do our best to match colors and dye lots when available when packing and shipping all orders, however, you can always return eligible items if you are disappointed with the color or for any other reason within the terms of this policy.
How do I return items?
For all returns, please contact us or send an email to support@dizzysheep.com with your order number, a listing of the items you wish to return and the reason for the return.
After receiving a confirmation from us, returned items should be mailed to:

How should I ship my return items?
We recommend shipping returns via USPS Priority Mail. You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item unless we have made a mistake with your order that prompted the return.
Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will not be included in your refund.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Do you charge a restocking fee?
No, we do not charge a restocking fee.
How will I receive my refund?
When your return is received and inspected, a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. You will receive an email confirming that we received and processed your return and have issued you a refund. We usually process returns and refunds within 2 - 3 business days of receiving a return.
Please note that it may take 7 - 10 business days for your refund to appear on any statement you may receive from your credit card or banking institution.
In the event that your return is not eligible for a refund for some reason, we will contact you and determine how best to move forward
What if my return refund does not appear on my credit card or banking institution statement?
Please contact us if your refund does not appear on your credit card or other original payment method statement after 10 business days. We will work with you to resolve any issues should they occur.
Can I exchange an item?
We only replace or exchange items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a defective or damaged item for the same item, please contact us and we will work with you to determine how best to proceed.
Can I return a gift?
If an item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you and you wish to return it, please contact us or send an email to support@dizzysheep.com with your order number, a listing of the gift you wish to return and the reason for the return. Be sure to indicate that this is a gift return.
After receiving a confirmation from us that the item is eligible for return, returned items should be mailed to:

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, it is the same as any other return and subject to the same Return and Refund rules described in this policy. Any return refund will be issued to the gift giver's credit card or original payment method and the gift giver will find out about your return.
