[A Dizzy Classic from June 29, 2009]

I'm not always one for a nap, but occasionally it's the right day and right coziness level on the couch for a little snooze.

I can't nap too long though, or else I wake up and feel like I have oatmeal in my head. No one wants to feel like that, all groggy and slow as if you were a zombie - but instead of brains you are stumbling around trying to find coffee...

To avoid cranky coffee zombie post nap syndrome, I usually set my alarm on my phone to wake me up. Unfortunately this time I clicked the wrong "alarm sound", because a little while later while happily snoozing I'm awoken by a loud klaxon sound! You know, that crazy "VRAAA VRAAA VRAAA" alarm sound along the lines of "exit the compound because the reactor is about to overload" sort of thing.

Needless to say it was a very abrupt wakeup as I pretty much fell off of the couch in startled confusion... and although I had more mental capabilities than a bowl of oatmeal, I still needed some comforting coffee because it was very upsetting to be woken up like that!
