Rowan Purelife was introduced in 2007, its aim was to produce yarns that are formed in an ethical and environmental way. Its ethos being to produce yarns which help keep nature pure and life good for the farmers who make a living from the earth.

“Rowan as a brand has a philosophy built on great design, beautiful yarns and colour, with an ethos of everything natural. Purelife is a concept of choice. Rowan is offering the knitter the choice to use yarns which are produced in a socially, responsible way and are kind to the environment.” - Head designer Marie Wallin
